Roommate share within a 2 bedroom-2 bathroom duplex apartment in a postwar building with large terrace located on Clinton Street, Lower East Side, Manhattan, New York. The apartment is located on the on the top floor of a 5th floor building. This building has an elevator. The apartment is divided into two levels; the owner occupies the top level. The apartment has hardwood floors, white walls and large bay windows facing East. It is fully furnished and every room has air conditioning. It is also equipped with phone lines and cable TV. The room for rent is on the first level of the apartment, next to the eat-in-kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with all household appliances such as a refrigerator, freezer, sink, stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender and cabinets for storage. There is a dining table with chairs that seats 4 people. This furnished room is approximately 120 square feet ( 8 x 15 ) and is furnished with a double size bed , a wardrobe closet. There is a large bay window, and an air conditioner. The room is very bright and quiet, facing East. The private bathroom is across the kitchen area. It has marble tiled floors, shower, tub, sink, and WC. The bathroom is equipped with a modern aeration system. Neighborhood : This apartment share is located in the Lower East Side, a neighborhood of in downtown Manhattan, New York. It is an upbeat area, in complete revolution and renovation. The population is young, ethnically mixed and friendly. A lot of cafes, restaurants, and little boutiques (nail salons, delis) line up on its streets. Larger supermarkets and stores can be found along the broad Delancey or Houston Streets. The Williamsburg Bridge is easy to get to from here. The Lower East Side is near the East Village on the north side, and of Chinatown, Soho and the Bowery area on the West and South side. It is within walking distance of Washington Sq. Park and NYU. F & V train to 2 Ave takes you directly to Midtown
