|
A bedroom with private bathroom is available in this large, bright, very clean 2 bedroom apartment, located in a doorman building in the seventies, at the corner of First Avenue. The room is very private, big, and has its own private bathroom off a small hallway, inside the room itself, which gives it the configuration of a small studio. The kitchen is for share. The apartment is facing north and east, and is located on the 11th floor of a postwar clean building with full time doorman and laundry facilities, elevators. It has wood floors, white walls and peaceful atmosphere.
The bedroom itself has air conditioning, large bay windows, cable TV (basic cable, you can order Time Warner if desired). It is 150 square feet and features a double bed, a desk and chair, 2 armchairs, book shelves. It has a closet, and in the private hallway, a dresser. The bathroom has shower, sink, toilet, mirror and small shelves.
The living room is not for share. The separate galley kitchen is basically equipped with fridge, gas stove, toaster, cabinets.
The neighborhood is very residential, quiet, with a lot of stores, delis, supermarkets, restaurants and beauty salons around. The subway station is 10 minutes walk away on 77th street and Lexington Avenue (6 train). You can also walk to the 68th street station. The neighborhood has many hospitals: Cornell, Presbyterian Hospital, Sloan-Kettering, Lenox Hill, Gracie Square. It is convenient for people who work at the United Nation thanks to the buses on 1rst and 2nd Avenue or students of Rockefeller University. Sotheby's is 3 blocks away.
