Neighborhood: this area is residential. You can enjoy a large park a few blocks away and the famous cloisters. Supermarkets and delis are located on Broadway and St Nicholas Avenue. This location is really pleasant if you want to live in a peaceful area not too far away from the center of Manhattan. Also conveniently located just a few blocks from Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Although the neighborhood is quiet lively, the apartment is located at the edge of the Hudson River where from your window, you can see the Hudson River and tress offering a good breeze. You really are in a beautiful spot if you like nature.
Also not far from the George Washington Bridge, that takes you to New Jersey. There is also a crosstown bus near 181 Street that takes you to the HighBridge Section of the Bronx. The train station is only a few blocks away where you can reach the city in 20 minutes with the express A train.
