This two bedroom apartment is located in a Park Slope townhouse located centrally between 5th and 6th Avenues.
The apartment has a floor through design.
The first bedroom is separated from the open kitchen/living area by a screen. There is a a double bed, a TV and a large storage cabinet.
The second bedroom is smaller and has a double bed.
The kitchen is open with a dining table, a Stove, sink and refrigerator. There are plenty of pots, pans, dishes and utensils.
The bathroom is marble and has a shower, tub, w/c and sink with vanity.
The Neighborhood - Twenty minutes from Manhattan, away from the hustle and the bustle, manic shoppers and speeding taxi drivers, this studio apartment is perfect for those who come to New York to witness and experience it's chaos but wish to have a place to retreat.
As a "Sloper", one has unlimited access to supermarkets, fruit and vegetable stands and a full range of ethnic restaurants. There is a gourmet supermarket down the street and a deli and groceries on both corners. This neighborhood is known for the New New Yorkers, bringing with them hip and trendy style and feel as well as young families. Though it will always remain more laid back than its hectic city, life is vibrant here in Brooklyn. There are coin laundry machines across the street as well as several washing and dry-cleaning services in the immediate area.
Located less than ten minutes (walking) to Prospect Park, there is always time for a run, game of football or base ball in the fields, or a picnic under the trees. Prospect Park also has day and evening events, such as films and theater, that take place over the summer.
Once used as Brooklyn's public park, on the highest point in Brooklyn is the nearby Greenwood Cemetery. Known for its as a resting place for distinguished artists, inventors and politicians, (such as Alice Roosevelt, Samuel Morris and the Steinway Family), this gated cemetery has become a popular place for walking tours.
For nightlife, Park Slope has it's share of local (and some historically known) bars and pubs. Music and dance clubs are also popular. There is popular and well-known cinema theatre within walking distance and a Block Buster Video rental a few blocks away. If you wish to travel within Brooklyn or to Manhattan or Queens, subways run all hours and cabs can be easily called if needed.
Transportation - The N, R, and M train run from the station three blocks away and the F train is located near Prospect Park. Buses run on both parallel avenues, running in both directions. There are many taxi companies in the area, that are prompt and reliable.
