Size: 1 bedroom with den, 1.5 bathrooms, Approx.750sq.ft. Can sleep 4 people.
Interior: Between the queen-size bed in the bedroom, the convertible sofabed in the office, and the sofas in the living room, this space sleeps 5. You enter a foyer/hallway with bookshelves, a dresser and floor lamp. To your left is the dining room/living room area and kitchen, and to your right are the bathrooms and bedroom and office. There is a dining table with chairs, and a living space with 2 sofas, a glass coffee table, 2 chairs, an area rug and a china buffet. The office has a convertible sofa bed, a desk with lamp, and bookshelves. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, 2 sidetables with lamps, a side-desk with chair, and a dresser. The pocket kitchen has a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, and a coffee maker. The floor is parquet and the bedroom is fully carpeted. Every window has a great view of the neighborhood.
Neighborhood: You are in the very center of the Upper West Side, one of the most, if not the most popular neighborhood in the city. Within minutes by foot you are in Central Park or Riverside Park. Lincoln Center is down the street, (featuring Avery Fisher Hall, New York Ballet, and the Metropolitan Opera).
Zabar's, the city's most famous gourmet delicatessen is nearby as well as the Beacon Theatre, a concert hall featuring bands, comedians, and theatre. The area is chock full of restaurants of every kind. There are several movie houses nearby as well as bars and clubs.
Transportation: The Broadway line, running the 1,2,3 trains, both local and express are a block away.
