Building: Refurbished pre-war construction. Entry by key or buzzer/intercom through 2 separate entrances. When you enter the building front door, you must also enter another door on your left, go to the elevator and take it to the third floor. Laundry facilities are available in the building.
Size: 1 bedroom, full bath, Approx. 500sq.ft. Sleeps 2.
Interior: You enter the living room that has a sofa with glass top coffee table, 2 easy chairs, a floor lamp, 50" plasma screen TV, a side table, 2 windows and an air-conditioner. The kitchen has a microwave oven, stovetop/oven, fridge/freezer, and coffee maker. A hallway leads to the bath and bedroom furnished with a double soze futon bed, dresser, wall mirror, area rug and air-conditioner. The space has hardwood floors and is decorated in 60's décor.
There is no telephone, but there is wireless high speed internet access. No smokers and no pets, please.
Neighborhood: You are in one of the trendiest areas in the city. Up the block are the well-known Pink Pony café, the Max Fish bar, and the famous Katz's delicatessen. Within walking distance is the Sara D. Roosevelt Park with benches, chess tables and basketball courts, Nolita, Soho, the East Village, Greenwich Village, and Chinatown. The area has an abundance of cafes, bars, restaurants, service and merchandise stores. If it's art, music, clothing, good food or just coffee that you crave, this is the spot for you!
Transportation: The F train is 2 blocks away.
