Beautiful one bedroom apartment in the heart of the Theater district
|
Location: New York City Midtown 50th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues.
Size: 1 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom, with Kitchen. Approximately 650 square feet. Sleeps 2 people very comfortably.
Building: Beautiful building in excellent condition in the heart of the theater district. This apartment is located on the 10th floor. There are 3 elevators, a doorman and concierge. There are three floors with laundry facilities. Security is excellent. Residents enjoy a private garden terrace on the second floor. The plaza of the building is a unique oasis in the city, separated from the street with trees, a fountain, plenty of outdoor seating, and two great restaurants. This is where New Yorkers relax. Right below this plaza are five brand new Broadway theaters.
Interior: Great layout this one bedroom apartment is in mint condition after major renovation. Though in the heart of the city, once you enter, you are enveloped in quietness. The apartment combines the amenities of the modern high rise with old New York touches like crown molding throughout. The apartment is fully furnished. It is ideal for a couple seeking larger space than a hotel. Modern comfort is everywhere.
In the bedroom a queen-size bed awaits you. Designer bed linens and towels are provided. There is a 42" flat panel plasma color television with VCR, DVD picture in picture and surround sound which you can watch from the sofa. The desk has cable modem internet access as well as wireless capabilities. Closet space is also provided.
In the living room there is another large sofa, and two comfy oversized chairs, end table, a dining table that expands to seat eight off of the kitchen The in-wall stereo system allows you to enjoy surround sound throughout the apartment. If you prefer to make your own music, there is a grand piano in the living room.
The separate and open kitchen has modern appliances and everything the gourmet cook requires. Brand new appliances include: dishwasher, gas oven, microwave, coffee- maker, fridge-freezer, pots and pans as well as dinnerware. The newly renovated bathroom has a Tuscan tumbled marble shower, a copper vessel sink and a toilet. You will feel like you have stepped into a Roman bath.
Neighborhood: You are in the center of everything hence most of New York's top hotels and restaurants are located blocks away. Local amenities include the theater district, Central Park, 5th Avenue shopping , Museum of Modern Art (Moma), and Rockefeller Center, the Intrepid, 50 movie theatres, 6 Starbucks within 2 blocks (including 2 in the building - but you will probably prefer the local place across the street.) There is a Bally's fitness center with a swimming pool in the building. This neighborhood used to be known as Hell's Kitchen but now is home to some of the best dining in the city.
Transportation: New York City Cabbies are readily accessible. Subway(C,E,1,9, N, W, R trains) stations are within 2 blocks from the apartment). Uptown/Downtown bus stops are also on the block.
Emergency: Police 911. Fire 911. St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital is located close-by.
