1 Bedroom Apartment in Chelsea
This charming one-bedroom apartment is located on the first floor in the rear of a 1900s six-story walk-up in New York's historic Chelsea neighborhood. Located one block from Barney's, Loehmann's, Bed, Bath & Beyond, The Container Store and West Elm, this neighborhood is full of great shops, restaurants and bars. With a police precinct and fire station nearby, it is safe to travel day or night, even late-night hours. The front doors of the building are kept locked 24/7 and entry is with a key, or for visitors, through an intercom/buzzer system.

The apartment is decorated with comfortable furniture, hardwood floors and beautiful paintings throughout. In the living room, there is a color TV with digital cable, a VCR and a DVD player. A double wardrobe is available to hang and store personal belongings. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, pots and pans, plates and silverware for four and an abundance of glassware and kitchen gadgets. The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower, along with a toilet and sink. Towels and some Kiehl's products are provided. The bedroom has a full-sized bed, dresser and full-sized mirror. Bed linens are also provided.

This apartment has windows in every room, giving exposure to the north, south and west.

Chelsea is located in historic downtown Manhattan. Seventh Avenue has lots of top restaurants and shopping while nearby Fifth and Sixth Avenues have some of the best stores in the city. There are three grocery stores two-three blocks away and Chelsea Market is a 10-minute walk from the apartment.

The apartment's greatest advantage is its location. It is 10 minutes from the super hip Meatpacking District, the historic West Village, the Flatiron neighborhood and Union Square. Chelsea is also known for its art galleries and the apartment is just blocks away from them. A quick jaunt down 19th Street is Chelsea Piers with skating, golf, bowling or spa treatments available. The Hudson River Park is located nearby as well. The apartment is close to most of the major Manhattan subway lines: 1 train at 18th Street, A,C,E, F,L,N,Q,R,V,W,2,3,4,5 or 6 trains at 14th Street. Buses run up and down both Sixth and Seventh Avenues, as well as crosstown buses on 14th and 23rd Streets.
