New York Accommodation - 1 Bedroom Rental in Midtown West (NY-11338)

The apartment was far beyond my expectations. Extremely comfortable with absolutely spectacular views ... sitting on the balcony at night, sipping wine and absorbing the sights and sounds of NYC from the comfort of your own apartment ... magical!

The owners met us on arrival and showed us through the apartment and answered any queries we had. They were delightful "New Yorkers" and spent a long time with us providing lots of helpful tips and information to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent building and facilities. Concierge and doormen extremely polite and helpful.

The location was also fabulous and convenient. Walking distance to iconic sights, local superstore, wine stores, restaurants, bars, theatres etc. A truly exhilarating experience. Highly recommend.

Great contact with the host who greeted us the evening we arrived. Accommodation in a good location and a nice neighborhood. Only downside is the street noise since the bay windows soundproofing is useless.

Great location if you like the theater and friendly neighborhood. Views are great. Apartment is ample for a couple not for a family of four in terms of comfort.

Superb location, view, and building for this lovely apartment. BUT without air-conditioning, and with North facing windows, it was very uncomfortable during a heat wave! Also meant windows had to remain open, thus very early morning sunshine and traffic noise.

The fans provided were helpful, however A/C would have ensured that the apartment's ratings were truly 5 star on all counts.

We had a great time, the situation of the building very good, very central. Although a bit noisy at 10th Avenue but we are in NY! this is part of the trip! Trade with
NY home and the owner very nice. Points to improve: cleaning of the apartment, floor living room and kitchen were not very clean on arrival, towels could really be changed, at TJ Max or Marshalls can be found very nice sets for cheap! :) The blinds of the balcony a little broken, and there was only one down in addition to the sofa bed.
It is not a 5 star but they are details that are easy to improve and they will make a difference! other than that that of positive. We will return with pleasure. And a little more than I had in other countries, put a welcome basket with 1 or 2 bottles of water and fruit, it's always nice when arriving! here, I hope these comments are helpful.

The building's reception was very good and the apartment absolutely fine, too.

We liked the security of the building. There is a door man and a security person at a desk that not only provide security but helpful info about the area. Although we could still hear some traffic noise, we could not hear anyone beside or above us in the other apartments.

There were lots of towels but we could have used more pillows for the four of us. Our only small concern was that we were not supplied with the neccessities to last the 8 days such as toilet paper and kleenex.

All around, a great apartment with a fantastic view.

I am more than happy to share our opinion of the unit (11338) we rented in NY in November. Our apartment could not have been any better, and far exceeded our expectations. The unit was very spacious and clean and had amazing views. The concierge were always very friendly and welcoming.

The owner of the unit was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. It is in a perfect location and easily accessible to the subway, and for those who love to walk, is centrally located and walking anywhere in Manhattan is very easy.

We are looking forward to renting this unit on our return trip to NY next year.

The apartment is very wonderful because of the view, a lot of windows in front of the buildings of Manhattan. Flat very comfortable and luminous and clean. Only 1 problem, the air conditioning system, may be too old, is very, very noisy.

We have appreciated the sun terrace on the top of the building, and also the balcony of the flat. The flat is very well located, near Broadway, and a lot of buses and subways are around the building.

The owner is very kind and quick to help us every time by phone. Christophe from New York Habitat, was also very professional and quick to help us.

The apartment met our expectations, that is it was exactly how you presented it. The whole organization was excellent, the view fantastic, the apartment with its 24-hour doorman service very convenient. We've stayed in New York already several times in various locations, but this location definitely was the best - short way to the next subway station with connection to many different lines, close to Bus Authority and Grand Central Station and easy for evening activities.

Only one thing has to be checked: the wooden [door] on the balcony was broken so we were awakened with the light very early in the morning. The [Chelsea] apartment is perfect, very nice view, very good location, well equipped and clean.

We really liked the apartment. The location was excellent, a few steps away from Times Square, not too far from Central Park, 5th Avenue and the museums... The apartment was just as described. The only thing was the noise, but this is New York! Overall we were very satisfied.
