This one bedroom apartment is on the garden level of a historic townhouse in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Both Morningside Park and Central Park are just a few minute walk from the house. This apartment is completely modern with a recently completed renovation, which upgraded the entire interior.
As you enter the apartment, you are in the living room kitchen area. This room is brightly light by two windows facing out towards the street. There is a futon sofa, which is queen, sized and can easily sleep two. The sofa bed can sleep the third person in the living room. There is also a large dining table, which has room for six people. The room has a decorative fireplace along its one wall, which is entirely brick. The kitchen area is open to the living room and features a new granite tile counter top, new appliances as well as a microwave, dishwasher, coffee Maker. The cabinets are filled with the necessary dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. There is a washer and dryer in the closet on this floor. Tere is cable TV and high speed internet access.
The bedroom is located in the back of the apartment. It features a king-sized bed. This room also gets plenty of light from its southern exposure towards the garden. There is a dresser in this room as well as large hanging closet.
There are two air conditioners, which provide cool air for the entire apartment. The floors through out are wood.
The bathroom includes all of the niceties of a top quality bathroom. There is a Jacuzzi tub, marble tile and a brightly-lit vanity, which includes a large mirror.
The highlight of the apartment is the access to the back yard. The yard has a large area of grass and some lounge chairs. It is the perfect place to relax after a long day in the city.
The neighborhood has become popular because of its classic townhouses and convenience to midtown and lower Manhattan. The B, C trains provide service along Central Park West to 8th Avenue and 6th Avenue, and the 1,9 trains provides 7th Avenue service. There is shopping along Broadway. It is also just blocks away from Columbia University.
