Large one bedroom in the East Village
|
This one bedroom apartment is a converted two bedroom which has been made into a one bedroom with a dining room and a living room. It is spacious at 680 square feet and occupies half of the floor of the building. This is a Non-Smoking accommodation.
The entry to the apartment is into the living room. The room has a couch and comfortable chair, which is aligned for watching the TV. There will be a TV with network TV and a couple of basic cable channels. There is also a stereo system in the room. On the opposite end of the room is a desk.
The living room leads into the dining room, which has a nice table which seats 4 or 6 in it. The walls of the room are lined with wine glasses and bottles as well as maps.
The kitchen is the next room that you reach as you proceed towards the back of the building. The kitchen has all of the necessary tools to make a seven-course meal. There are small appliances ranging from coffee and espresso makers to a toaster to a microwave to a deep fryer.
The bedroom is just off the kitchen and is about 150 square feet. The shape of the room is not a perfect rectangle but has a portion in the back, which leads to a window. The room has a queen bed in the main part and hanging racks in the section leading to the window. The room is painted a bright orange color.
The bathroom is also off the kitchen. It has a full tub/shower, a W/C and a sink with mirror. The window and the ceiling light fixture brightly light the room.
The apartment has access to a common garden in the back of the property. It is a shared area with the neighbors.
The apartment is located in the popular East Village. Located on Avenue B there are many restaurants and bars. Tompkins Square Park is located just two blocks south of the apartment. The subway is about a five-minute walk to 14th Street and 1st avenue for the L train.
