My fiancee and I had the pleasure of booking a condo #12046 through NY Habitat for 5 nights from October 18, 2008.
The booking process with NY Habitat was very efficient and smooth.
Our booking agent Gisela Kruse was very helpful and prompt in her responses to our queries. Gisela located a fantastic apartment for our stay in NYC.
The [Midtown West] vacation rental was brilliant. [The apartment] had absolutely everything we needed and its location - overlooking Times Square was perfect. The owner was extremely professional and helpful - even offering us some advice on how to save money on telephone calls back home to Australia! The apartment was spotless, quiet and secure, while being in the centre off all the action! We would not hesitate for a second to stay in this apartment again. Thank you [to the apartment owner] for helping to make our stay in NYC special. |

Just one "yellow flag" : We've been slightly annoyed by noise coming from air conditioning fan situated outside near bedroom window.

My family and I had a WONDERFUL experience in New York during Thanksgiving week. A lot of that was due to being able to stay in apartments instead of hotel rooms.
I rented 3 vacation rentals. All of them were clean and well kept and the landlords were very helpful and friendly as well.
I especially want to commend [my New York Habitat agent] for being so helpful during the
selection process. I didn't know a lot about Manhattan since I had only visited there once over 12 years ago. But I told [him] what I needed and really, the apartments he helped me select couldn't have been better for what I needed.
I surprised a lot of people, including an old friend in Manhattan, by telling them about your great service. I have recommended this to anyone
who asks me. |

We stayed in an apartment [in Midtown West - New York City]. We were blown away when we walked into the vacation rental, and could not have asked for a better location.
[...The accommodation owner was] the most friendly and generous person you could deal with. [...]
The apartment was in the middle of Times Square [...]. It was a very new apartment, and was cleaner than any hotel we could have booked. We had everything we needed from a washing machine to dishwasher, and even umbrellas were available for when it rained. We had concerns staying in an apartment, and not having 24 hour service, however, the concierges are available 24 hours and always willing to help with anything, or up for a chat.
[Your agent] was extremely helpful, and efficient with his service. We always had a response to our questions
within 24 hours, and he was accessible by phone also.
I would certainly recommend this apartment, and New York Habitat, to anyone looking to stay in New York. New York is an amazing city, but the service we
received was simply the icing on the cake. |
