The window in the living room has northern exposure, overlooking the back courtyard area.

This apartment is located at 46th Street & 9th Avenue in Clinton, also known as Hell's Kitchen, or Midtown West. This area, considered by some to be the heart of New York City, offers many amenities and is conveniently located near the Theater District and Times Square. Many plays and other entertainment options can be found just a few blocks east, in the middle of the Theater District, or you can try a less mainstream option in an off-Broadway theater in Clinton itself. Times Square is about 4 blocks away, including Madame Tussaud's wax museum, the M&M store, and many other sights. Just around the corner from the apartment building on 9th Avenue, the street is lined with restaurants and bars, offering casual to fine dining, from sushi to Mexican to southern soul food.

There is a restaurant next to the building near the front courtyard, and it is possible that food cooking can be smelled at times.

Please note that the heating system is radiator steam which can cause loud clanging when in use during the cold season.
