The owner was very flexible and kind.
Jun 11 2012Appartment with lots of extra space, comfy bed, really clean bathroom with good shower.
On the downside, there was a lot of humidity and a strange smell (that went out with candles and dehumidifier).... maybe it was from the old sofa!
The subway is passing right behind the house, some might find it noisy, but I lived in town all my life so it didn't bothered me.
On the other hand, the BQ subway station is at less then 4min walk, in a calm neighborhood.
Parking on the street was easy and free.
All and all, a good experience, a good price for a calm appartment right next to the subway!

Yes, it does sometimes get humid in the apartment, and I think the renter is mostly referring to a slight mustiness that occurs. We will run the de-humidifier more often, especially during the summer months, to keep it drier, even when no one is using the apartment.

Jun 28 2011We appreciated a lot Christophe he was very nice and very professionnel, less the studio to Brookling the owner was ok but that all, and the location was too late from Manhantan.
We are proud that Marie the manager is French Bretonne, bravo la Française.

They were a very nice couple. Thanks for sending them. They seemed frustrated that there is no kitchen, so perhaps this should be made clearer to the next French speakers (they only speak French).

Nov 23 2009The description of the vacation rental was accurate except for one fact which I think should be mentioned on the web page : the subway is really near the apartment, and since the track is not covered there (the train is out in the open -- I'm not sure how one would say this in English, sorry :-), it is quite loud. It was OK for us, but I think it could be a real setback for some people.
