One Bedroom in Harlem

This fully furnished one bedroom apartment is located on the second floor of a brownstone in the heart of Harlem, a neighborhood in uptown Manhattan, New York, with a garden. The apartment is accessed through a door with a buzzer and intercom.

This vacation rental includes and interior with exposed brick in the living room and the bedroom and a fireplace in the living room. The kitchen is open into the living room and has a counter that can be used to eat on.

The windows of the accommodation have views onto both 136th Street and out to the garden in back.

Harlem is an historical neighborhood of New York City, with many attractions, such as the Apollo Theater and the Abyssinian Baptist Gospel Church, which are not far from this apartment. Also, you can experience the tasty soul food in the many restaurants in the area like Sylvia's, as well as gospel singing on Sunday morning mass at any local church. There is a shopping area on 125th Street, full of stores, bars, restaurants and movie theaters in this area of Manhattan. Also, you can visit the famous Harlem Market where you are able to find a lot of unique and interesting ethnic items and gifts.

Be aware that this apartment is located in a busy part of town (between Lenox & 7th Avenues) so it can be noisy at times.
