The north exposed windows in the living room of this accommodation face the street and the southern exposed windows in the bedroom face a backyard with a beautiful tree.

This furnished 1 bedroom apartment is located in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York. Chelsea is one of Manhattan's trendiest neighborhoods. Art galleries and restaurants are located on many of the streets in the neighborhood. Chelsea Market is around the corner and there is also a Whole Foods on 7th Avenue at 25th Street. The A/C/E/L subway lines are just 1/2 block away, and the 1/2/3 subway lines are just three blocks away at 14th Street and 7th. Also close is the newly created Highline Park, the Hudson River Pack and the rest of the Meatpacking District.

We had a lovely stay in this Manhattan vacation rental in Chelsea recently. It's conveniently located 1/2 block from the 8th Ave. subway and felt like a very safe neighborhood. The owners (who live on the 2nd floor) were quite hospitable yet unobtrusive, and we found the place to be roomy, well kept, quiet, and comfortable. Our teenager had her own space on the futon bed in the living room and we had a separate bedroom. After long days in the city, it was a welcome refuge for us to come home to this space and be able to cook some food and relax- so much better than if we had rented a hotel! We look forward to returning some day.
