The first one is Prospect Park which offers many children playgrounds, concerts during warm months, ice-skating in the winter, a zoo, a wildlife center, water falls, a lake where you can fish or rent a boat and lots of green space.

The Brooklyn Museum is in walking distance. The Botanic Gardens are also not far as well as many restaurants that feature foods from around the world, coffee shops and supermarkets. A movie theatre and the subway station are just around the corner. You can take the subway train to Coney Island to enjoy the water front and the Brooklyn Aquarium.
