This studio apartment is located in Gramercy on the fifth floor of a postwar building with a security system. The apartment is facing the back, and provides a view of a courtyard and the street side. The studio has light yellow walls and light green wooden floors.
Upon entering the studio, there is a full-size bed with pillows and comforters. For sitting the owner has arranged a self-made sofa.
In front of the window is a small dining table with two chairs. There is also an entertainment unit with cable television, a VCR/DVD, and a stereo. There are accessories everywhere and modern pictures are on the walls.
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, coffeemaker, refrigerator and sink.
The bathroom is standard with a WC, sink, shower and tub.
Gramercy Park is a traditional area with jazz clubs and theatres. Union Square is just a few steps away from the East Village, where fun abounds.
For transportation the L, N, Q, R, 4, 5 and 6 trains are at 14th Street and Union Square.

I just want to let you know that we had a FABULOUS time in our vacation rental, (ref no 1818). [...] Regarding the apartment, the owner [in New York] was just so nice, he made us feel at ease straight from the beginning. Since he is involved in the arts, like we are, he had lots of books and CDs which were of interest to us, as well as having created a living environment for himself which reflected this arts involvement. Consequently, we felt right at home! |
