LOCATION: New York City, Upper West Side

BUILDING: In the heart of the Upper West Side, this New York apartment is located on the 17th floor of an 18-floor building. The pre-war building has a 24-hour doorman with coin-operated laundry in the basement. Guests have access to the roof, with a nice view of the Hudson River.
INTERIOR: The apartment is decorated in country-style antiques. The layout affords guests a great deal of privacy as one bedroom/bathroom (the master) is at one end of the apartment while the second smaller bedroom/bathroom is on the other. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed; the second bedroom has a pull-out couch. There is also a full-size couch in the living room. Bed linens are provided. There is a stereo, CD player, color TV with cable, fax machine and other modern amenities.There is air conditioning.
The master bathroom has a full bath; the second bathroom has a shower. Towels are provided.
NEIGHBORHOOD: The apartment is in the heart of the Upper West Side, close to both Riverside Park and Central Park. Also close by is the giant Sony Imax cinema complex, as well as Lincoln Center. Many restaurants are nearby, as is cleaners, drugstores, bookshops, record stores, etc.
OTHERS: Public transportation is everywhere. Bus stops are less than 200 feet away, while the subway (1,2,3,9) is about a block a way.
