One bedroom apartment in Midtown West
|
Location: Midtown West, on the edge of Time Square / Garment District / Theatre districts; located on 37th street between 8th and 9th Avenues. Size: This apartment is approximately 750 square feet, has 1 bedroom and sleeps 2 people. Building: Newly renovated 4-floor, pre-war building conveniently located in Midtown. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor with no elevator.
Interior: The apartment is well lit, spacious, and has all new appliances. The bedroom has queen size bed for which linens are provided, and 2 windows that provide lots of morning sunlight. Art work is also diplayed on the walls of this room. An air conditioner is available to be used as needed. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub with shower, lots of hot water and towels are provided. The kitchen is equipped with all new appliances, pots, pans, dishes, flatware, and coffee maker provided. There is a contemporary dining table that can double as a work-area if needed. The living room has a variety of singular Italian chairs and benches that are provided for visitors. Local phone/Fax service is provided, as is an air conditioning unit. Simple exercise equipment is also available for use in this room. Two windows provide lots of afternoon sunlight.
Neighborhood: Ninth Avenue, known as Hells Kitchen, is well known for its diversity in ethnicity of cuisine. American, Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, Indian, Greek, French, African, Asian, and many other international cuisines can be found on Ninth Avenue between 34th street and 90th street. The neighborhood bridges fashion from Garment district with the excitement of Time Square and the theatre district. Also close are Port Authority bus terminal and Penn Station.
Public Transportation: A, C, E, Shuttle to Grand Central Station, 1, 2, 3, N, R, B, D, F, Q; all within walking distances. Taxis are readily available.
