Studio in Chelsea with small garden

LOCATION: New York City Chelsea, 21st Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenue.
SIZE: This is a studio apartment with a private garden, full bath and alcove kitchen with an area of approximately 300 square feet.
BUILDING: The building is located in the center of Chelsea on a neighborhood block that is planted with trees and flowers. The apartment is on the ground floor in the back of the building where there is a private garden. The front door is always locked and entry is with your own key.
INTERIOR: This apartment is like a old cabin in the city with a private backdoor opens into a garden. There is a double bed and a futon couch that opens into a double bed. Bed linens and towels are provided. There is a very small color television (no cable), a VCR and a boom box with a tape deck, CD, and radio. There is a desk and DSL internet access, free long distance within the U.S.A., a handmade folding dining table, air filter, and an air conditioning unit. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full refrigerator with a freezer and a Range with an oven. There are pots, pans and dinnerware. The bathroom has a bathtub with shower.
NEIGHBORHOOD: The block is quiet and has a small town atmosphere, where neighbors often greet one another. Chelsea is full of restaurants, coffee shops, dance theaters, off Broadway theaters, galleries, food shops and clothing stores. To the west 5th and 6th Avenues are a shoppers paradise, with many well-known stores lining the avenues. These include Victoria Secret, Bed Bath & Beyond, Filenes, The Gap, Barnes & Noble, Aveda, and The Body Shop to name a few. To the West galleries can be found. Chelsea is the new and upcoming gallery district, what SoHo used to be. Further West is Chelsea Piers, where you can stroll along the Hudson River. A five-minute walk South will bring you into Greenwich Village, and North a 15-minute walk brings you to Macys, Madison Square Gardens and the Empire State Building.
OTHERS: The apartment is 2 blocks from the C, E, and 9 subway lines. It is close to uptown, downtown and the East Side of Manhattan. Taxis are abundant and bus stops are everywhere. It is easy to get anywhere from this location. The streets are peopled even late into night. The post office is on 18th Street between 7th Avenue & 8th Avenue. There are many ATM machines in the area.
