Building: Six floors, elevator. Friendly nieghbors, super on premises.
Inteerior: Sunny and spacious with high ceilings and hardwood floors. The front room is used as an office and has two desks, along with a drop leaf dining table. CD player and AM/FM radio are also available. The bedroom has a sleeping loft with a full size mattress. Underneath is a pull-out couch, TV/VCR and cable. The bathroom has a full bath and shower, with lots of hot water and water pressure. We have a full kitchen with cookware and dinnerware for four, microwave and toaster oven. The apartment is full of books, CDs and movies. It is usually occupied by a cat and is therefore not suited to anyone with cat allergies.
Neighborhood: We are located near Columbia University, and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Both Riverside and Central Park are only blocks away. Two subway lines are less than a 5 min. walk, and there is a bustop directly outside the door. Laundry facilities and grocery and drug stores are all within two blocks. Along with the students in the neighborhood, there is a diverse ethnic community, as well as many artists, actors and musicians.
