Charming Studio in the heart of Chelsea

LOCATION: New York City- Manhattan- Chelsea
SIZE: This is a studio apartment with 1 bathroom. It sleeps 2 people.
BUILDING: In the heart of Chelsea, this New York apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 5-story building. There is an elevator. It is on a quiet side street between two bustling avenues. The noise level is low and there are lovely shade trees and brownstone on the block. The front door is kept locked and entry is with your own key, or for visitors through an intercom system.
INTERIOR: The apartment is well lighted and the living room / bedroom is relatively spacious. There is a sofa along with a aueen-size mattress that is against the wall during the day and put down at night. Linens are provided. The kitchen is fully equipped (coffeemaker, refrigerator, freezer). The dining area is located right off of the kitchen. There is dinnerware with service for four. The bathroom includes a tub, cotton towels, washcloths, and hand towels are provided. The apartment has a computer with high speed internet access.
NEIGHBORHOOD: Centrally located, in a mid-block between 8th and 9th avenues, where you will have easy access to a variety of attractions. Both avenues have subway lines at 23rd Street, which will get you everywhere you want to go. Midtown is 10 minutes away on the E train uptown. SOHO is 5 minutes away on the E downtown. Greenwich Village is a 5-minute walk away. The Joyce Theatre for modern dance is on 19th Street. Lincoln Center is a ten-minute ride on the 7th Avenue #1 or #9 train. There you'll find The Metropolitan Opera, The New York City Ballet, New York City Opera and the New York City Philharmonic, as well as guest companies and orchestras.There is an inexpensive coin operated laundry around the block.
OTHERS: Bus stops are on 7th Avenue and 20th Street going downtown, 8th Avenue and 20th Street going uptown and on 23rd Street going either east west across town. A Grisedes is on 20th Street and 8th Avenue, D`Agostinos` is on 23rd between 8th and 9th.There are delis on almost every corner for staples and the green grocers for fruits and vegetables.
EMERGENCY: Police and Fire: 911. The precinct is 1 block away. St. Vincent's Hospital is on 12th and 7th Avenue.
