Studio apartment renovated from a commercial space.

This apartment is located in the Lower East Side. It is a renovated former candy store with an area of approximately 280 square feet.
The apartment has an old hard wood floor but a bathroom and kitchenette renovated in 2003. The apartment is furnished in a minimalist style; there is a queen size pull out sofa, a shelf with some books and a stereo in it. In front of the shelf is a small dining table with two chairs. There is a TV that is to be used with the VCR. The bathroom is in the back of the apartment. There is a bathtub with shower, a tiny sink and a WC. A sliding door closes the bathroom from the rest of the apartment. The kitchenette includes a sink, a stove and wooden cabinets containing some cooking utensils and dinnerware. Along one wall an armchair will be provided on the walls hang some nice artwork. Sheets and towels are provided and a phone is available for local calls.
NEIGHBORHOOD: This apartment is located on the edge of the Lower East Side and Chinatown. The Lower East Side is the hippest area of New York for excellent restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs. Restaurants include French, Asian, Middle Eastern, Italian and American, with a number of laid-back sunny cafes all within a few blocks. The area is in a renaissance period, and young designers and artist from all parts of the world have opened up one-of-a-kind exclusive boutiques. Everywhere in this neighborhood are some of the most thriving restaurants and clubs in New York, similar to the famous Greenwich Village in its heyday back in the 50's and 60's. paying folk, rock, Little Italy and Chinatown is a five minutes walk, and SoHo is just ten minutes walk. On the corner is a supermarket.
TRANSPORTATION: One block away guest can take the M 15 bus which brings you within 10 minutes to the East Village. The closest subway station is East Broadway with the F -train that is just around the corner.
