We had a great time in New York. The apartment was fantastic and I'd definitely stay there again. It was in the best location that we could have hoped for. It was great to stay in a fully furnished vacation rental that obviously got used as a home from time to time as it meant that everything that we could possibly need was available to us.
The owner was great, accepted travellers cheques without any hassle at all, and after the very first meeting we never saw them again. The wifi was also a great bonus that wasn't on the site.

[We] enjoyed our stay at the apartment [on the Lower East Side]. It was easy to find, clean and nice. The neighborhood was happening with so many great spots right outside the door. Subway was only a short walk away. Would definitely recommend the vacation rental and New York Habitat, had a great experience with both. |

We had a lovely time staying in the [East Village]apartment in August/September 2008. The vacation rental was clean, spacious and comfortable and
it was situated in a great area with a good variety of bars, restaurants and shops on our doorstep. It also provided a great base to visit other areas of the city as it was very close to Greenwich Village, Soho, Little Italy and Chinatown. We would definitely stay there again. |
