Location: Midtown west, 30th Street, between 8h & 9th Avenue, 3rd floor
Building: This is a prewar walk - up building with a security system and a washer and dryer.
Interior: This is a 1 bedroom apartment with an area of approximately 400 square feet. It is furnished with eclectic furniture. It is also equipped with a fan, VCR, TV and a stereo. The apartment is very bright and quiet. Light smoking is allowed.
The Bedroom has A/C.
Neighborhood: Chelsea is Manhattan's hottest neighborhood, home to contemporary art galleries, restaurants, boutiques and food markets. Just around the corner from the apartment are several 24-hour delis and restaurants, a dry cleaners, liquor store, and hardware store. Macy's and the Herald Square Shopping Center are blocks away at 34th Street and 7th and 6th Avenues. There are numerous antique stores in the mid-20s between near 6th Avenue and every weekend the famous New York Flea Market offers rare finds at 26th Street and 6th Avenue. Within easy walking distance are the bike and running paths along the Hudson River. The Chelsea Piers, at 23rd and 11th Avenue offers a new sports complex with ice skating, roller blading, bowling, horseback riding, basketball courts, pool, a climbing wall, sailing, river front restaurants and excursion boats.
OTHERS: The E train will take you right across the street from the Museum of Modern Art; the C & E trains will take you right into the heart of SoHo , where designer stores are located. The A & C train will bring you right to Central Park.
