One bedroom in Midtown West
|
This 450 sq. ft. one bedroom apartment is located on West 55th Street between 8th and 9th Avenue. It is situated on the eighth floor of a postwar building. It features a fulltime doorman, an elevator and laundry facilities in the building.
Enter the apartment, you will be surrounded by a warming and bohemian atmosphere. At the entrance guests will need to take of their shoes. There are three windows and a sofa accompanied by a little glass coffee table. All over are little esoteric art works and statues, which spread relaxation.
The open kitchen is very functional and features a stove and a little fridge. Very basic, but ideal for minor cooking sessions. Cooking utensils are provided. There is a dining table adjacent to the window, with two chairs.
The bedroom is very calm and established with a full sized bed. Sheets are provided. There is a desk and a small TV with cable across the bed. The window provides fresh air and daylight. Sufficient closet space is provided and the phone maybe used for local phone calls.
Connected is the bathroom. Established with a tub, shower WC and a sink it is very conventional. Towels are provided.
Neighborhood: A couple of blocks away from Central Park, around the corner from Carnegie Hall and a 10 minute taxi ride to New York's most popular districts, i.e Greenwich Village, SoHo and Tribeca. Also, you will have access to all major subway lines just a few steps away from the apartment. Art, fun, and entertainment is the name of the game in this part of town with countless restaurants, opera and cultural events at the famous Lincoln Center, the Metropolitan Museum of art, and only a 10-minute walk to New York's Broadway Shows.
Others: Public transportation is everywhere. Bus stops at the corner and subway stations for R, N, W, Q, E, D, 1, 2, 3, B, A, and C lines one block away at 59th Street Columbus Circle.
