Quiet studio in Midtown East

This charmingly decorated studio apartment is located on 58th Street between Second and Third Avenue in Midtown East. It is on the 2nd floor of a prewar building with private access to a 400 square feet terrace. It measures approximately 600 square feet and sleeps up to four people.
The apartments offers many amenities such as fresh flowers, a telephone and answering machine and bath salts. The apartment is furnished with a Queen-size cherry wood sleigh bed, a comfortable full size futon and a wooden dining table with two chairs. The apartment a TV with cable, VCR, a stereo and air conditioning unit. The open kitchen has a sink, a fridge, stove and enough dinnerware to provide a light meal. The bathroom has a shower, tub and toilet. Sheets and towels are provided. There is an an extra sofa bed in the studio.
Located in the Midtown East, this apartment is situated at the heart of Manhattan's most sophisticated and most sought-after area. Landmark New York buildings nearby include the metal tipped tower of the Chrysler building, the enormous Met Life building which punctuates the wide expanse of Park Avenue, and the famous modernist slab of the United Nations building. The numerous boutiques, specialty stores and antique shops cater for people with a taste for quality goods. Central Park is just within walking distance.
Public transportation in Manhattan is easy to find. Subway stations are located within walking distance to the apartment, and cross-town buses travel at regular hours. New York's legendary yellow taxis can be hailed anywhere at any time of the day or night.
