Two bedroom apartment in a townhouse
|
This 2 bedroom, 2,5 bathroom duplex with garden in the back, is located on the 1st and 2nd floor of a townhouse, on 118th street, between 7th Avenue and Lenox Avenue, in Harlem. The subway station on the 2-3 lines is 2 blocks and a half away on 116th street.
A new chic restaurant, called Natire, opened on the corner. A new grocery store which is about 3 times the size of your usual Manhattan grocery, a big CVS, and a patisserie/bakery, not unlike the ones you find in the West Village. The neighborhood is undergoing a complete transformation.
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed and a large walk in closet facing the back yard. The room has a TV. There is a private bathroom just off of the bedroom that includes a tub with shower, Jacuzzi, w/c and sink with vanity.
The bedroom second bedroom/office has separate entrance, on the ground floor. For security: one gate and the door, locked, protect the entrance. It has wood floors, white walls, a large closet with double door, one window facing the street (South exposure). The room is furnished with a queen sized-futon, a dresser, a cable TV, and high speed Internet. Next-door is the second bathroom with tub, shower, sink and WC.
Upstairs, you find the living area, largely open. It is furnished with a double-sized futon, TV with cable, stereo, walk-in closet and dining table. The kitchen is very well equipped with black large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, and one window facing the garden. There is one door leading to a little staircase to go in the yard. A half bathroom is available on this floor.
The neighborhood is quiet and residential. New restaurants are opening in the area. The subway is a short walk away and groceries, supermarkets can be found on Lenox Avenue. 15 minute walk to Columbia University.
