Location: Battery Park City, South end Avenue at Liberty Street Building: Luxury doorman building, prewar. It has laundry facilities. Interior: 14th floor, amazing views of the sea, Statue of Liberty, and the South of the Island. Approximately 400 sq. ft alcove studio. It is very lightly furnished with a queen bed, a cable TV and A/C. The kitchen has a dishwasher, a stove, a coffemake, a toaster and a fridge. It can accommodate 2 persons only. Neighborhood: Battery Park City is a very upscale new area, within short walking distance to Wall St, and several subway lines. An incredible Esplanade park is right at the edge of the Hudson River one block from the building, running from Battery Point north. All the major ships go up and down here which make for terrific watching, picnicking, rollerblading, volleyball, fireworks etc. There are several restaurants in the immediate area, with more coming, and in Tribeca and Chinatown, both close by.
