Located on rue Lesage, between rue de Tourtille and rue Rouve in the 20th arrondissement, this furnished two bedroom apartment offers modern elegance in one of the greatest neighborhoods in Paris, Belleville. The accommodation is on the third floor (fourth floor in the US) of a 20th century building with double digicode security systems at the exterior doors.
Make the most of valuable Parisian living space with this long combination living room, dining room and kitchen with hardwood floors and lots of natural light through the two French windows. You feel right at home on the sofa facing the flatscreen television with cable and DVD included. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook and eat at home, including a full-sized refrigerator, oven, and even a dishwasher! There is also a washing machine and a dryer in the bathroom for your convenience.
The apartment's two bedrooms are modern in design, yet still homey. In each you’ll find a double bed with sheets included, bright white walls and enormous windows offering classic views of Paris’s rooftops. Each bedroom has ample closet space, so there's no need to worry about packing light!
Belleville is one of Paris’s most famous modern neighborhoods. Its eclectic mix of recent immigrants, working class Parisians and a growing number of bobos or bohemian bourgeois (French hipsters) make this one of the most interesting areas of the city. Head to one of Paris’s two Chinatowns, located on the Rue de Belleville just a block away, and enjoy fantastic food and cheap shopping. Artists drawn to the cute side streets of the neighborhood have established themselves in numerous studios and galleries. Do your shopping like a local at the Marché de Belleville, one of Paris’s famed outdoor markets where you can buy produce directly from farmers. The heart of the neighborhood is the Parc de Belleville, offering views of the city second only to Montmartre and modern park space unlike any other in Paris.
The rest of Paris feels far away up on the Belleville hill, but it’s just a short trip on the metro from either Pyrénées (line 11, 450m/.3mi) or Belleville (lines 2 and 11, 400m/.2mi).
