Bright one bedroom apartment in the Bastille area

Located between Rue Popincourt and Rue du Chemin Vert, this spacious 50 m2 one bedroom is just a few minutes away from the Oberkampf area, the Place de la Bastille and the Place de la Republique. These neighborhoods are well known for the Opera Bastille built for 200th anniversary of the French revolution. They are also renowned for their cafes, restaurants, and night life and artist places as in the Oberkampf area. The owners of the apartment will be sharing the kitchen, the living room, the bathroom and toilets even though they will be living on a different floor. The owner sleeps in an other bedroom. The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor of a 19th century walk-up building .The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and an intercom .The apartment faces a little street and a courtyard; it has a southwest exposure. All the walls are white-painted and there is wooden floor everywhere except in the kitchen and the bathroom, which are tiled. There is a bookshelf in the corridor. The apartment is divided as follows: The entry door opens on a hallway that leads to the separate toilet and kitchen on the right hand side, the living room is in front, the bedroom and the bathroom are on the left hand side. The 18m2 living room has 2 windows with venetian blinds, it is equipped with a sofa bed (140 wide), an antic chest of drawers, a writing desk, a coffee table; there is a dining table with matching chairs, a wardrobe, a cable TV, a stereo, a VCR. High speed internet access is available. The bedroom is fitted with a 140 wide bed, a desk and a wardrobe. It has a window with shades, facing the street. The open kitchen is fully equipped with a combo fridge-freezer, a microwave, an electric oven, 4 gas burners, a cooker hood, a sink, a coffee maker, a toaster and a washing machine. It has a window. You access the kitchen from the corridor and from the living room. The bathroom has a shower cabin with a wall-mounted showerhead, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and an electric towel dryer and a hair dryer. The toilets are separate with a small washbasin. The nearest metro station is Saint-Ambroise (line 9).
