This calm one-bedroom apartment is located in a busy street near one of Paris most tourist area, between Bd de Starsbourg and Rue d'Hautevilles. It is perfect for 4 persons. Near this apartment, you will find the Grands Boulevards that are lined with 19th century buildings and used to be the center of café and theatre life in the 18th and 19th centuries. This area boast of café, shops and small restaurants, offering food from all over the world: Indian, Turkish, Indonesian, Yugoslavian, etc. Located in the lane, it has the atmosphere of the very old Paris. At a few minutes walk is the Opéra Garnier, which was intended to establish a Napoleon III style; the result was a neo-baroque building. This 42m2 apartment is located on the second floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The building is protected with a security system and the apartment has shutters for the main rooms. It is northwest exposed and it faces a calm courtyard. The apartment is divided as follows: when you first enter the apartment right on the right side of the tiled corridor is the 16m2 living room, next to the living room is the separate kitchen, on the left side of the corridor is the 12m2 bedroom and next to it the bathroom. The living room has two windows giving on a calm courtyard. The walls are white painted and there is a white tiled floor. The decoration is basic and modern. It is furnished with two double sofa beds (140 wide), a dinning table with six chairs, a halogen, a wooden piece of furniture, and a closet. It is fitted out with a cable TV with VCR and DVD player, a stereo as well as a phone with an answering machine. High speed wireless internet access is available. The bedroom has a window giving on the courtyard. It has white painted walls and a parquet floor. It is decorated with a single bed and a double size bed, a bedside table with a small lamp, a rug, a standard lamp, a small piece of furniture, wooden cupboards and a wardrobe. An extra double size mattress can be provided (to be put on the floor in the living room or in the bedroom) The separate kitchen is all tiled; it has a window giving on the courtyard. It is equipped with a microwave, three gas burners and an electric burner, a small electric oven, a small fridge, a coffee maker, a toaster, a sink and all the necessary utensils placed out in the cupboards. The bathroom is all tiled, it has a tub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a shower curtain and a protection door, a washbasin surmounted by a medicine cabinet with mirror, and WC. There are also cupboards in the bathroom. The nearest metro stations are Strasbourg saint-Denis (line 8&9) and Gare de l'Est (line 5).
