This furnished one-bedroom apartment is located on Rue Las Cases between Rue de Bellechasse and Rue Casimir Perier in Paris. This is an outstanding and privileged location surrounded by government offices, just beside the impressive Musee d'Orsay, and the National Assembly, both bordering the Seine River. Neighboring are the National Geographic Institute and one of the major monuments, the glorious Hotel des Invalides where Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb is located. It is also adjacent to the Boulevard Saint Germain with its choice restaurants and cafes that were, in times past, regularly frequented by renowned intellectuals; it is filled with smart fashion shops, in vogue restaurants and cafes, art galleries, cinemas, and markets.
Premises:
This 60m˛ (approx. 645 sq. ft.) one-bedroom apartment is located on the ground floor (American first floor) of a 19th century building. The entrance gate, protected by an intercom and a security system, opens into a courtyard where the apartment is located. There is also a concierge.
The entrance door opens directly into the living room, which links the bedroom and the separate kitchen. The separate bathroom is accessible from the kitchen. The apartment has a 3.50m high ceiling with beautiful genuine beams.
The 22m˛ (approx. 235 sq. ft.) living room has a window with northwestern exposure overlooking a courtyard. Facing a decorative fireplace topped by a large mirror are a sofa and two antique-style armchairs around a small coffee table. Opposite are a large white bookcase, a Bordeaux velvet armchair, a smaller recessed bookcase, and an antique-style pier glass. Close to the main door are an antique-style secretaire and a wooden dresser. It also has a cable TV, a HiFi stereo, and a telephone.
The 20m˛ (approx. 215 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window with southwestern exposure overlooking the street. It is furnished with two single-size beds placed side by side (may be separated) with bedside tables and lamps, an antique-style wooden wardrobe and armchair, a recessed small bookcase, and an 18th century oratory.
The separate kitchen has a window overlooking a courtyard. It is equipped with four gas burners, a stainless steel sink topped by a cooker hood, an electric oven, a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle. There is also an eat-in kitchen area with a dining table and four chairs.
A small dressing room links the kitchen to the separate bathroom. It is furnished with built-in closets, a washing machine, and a dryer.
The separate bathroom has a shower topped by a showerhead, a washbasin and a toilette.
Heat and hot water are both gas. This apartment is equipped with a WiFi connection.
For convenient travel around Paris, the nearest metro station is Solférino (Line 12).
