Nice One Bedroom in Montmartre
|
This nice one bedroom apartment is situated between Blvd de Clichy and Place des Abesses. Centrally located at a walking distance from the Sacred Heart it is perfect for a couple.
This apartment is also very close to the Place des Abbesses and Sacred Heart Basilica perched at the very top of the singular Butte Montmartre, where are many sorts of typical shops, restaurants, bars, and also painters and caricaturists working in the open air. While walking in Montmartre, another option is to visit the museums: Espace Salvador Daly, Museum of the old Montmartre, Musee d'art naif. Few blocks to the South is the Pigalle area known for the French typical show houses.
This 46m2 apartment is located on the third floor with elevator of 1930's building. The entrance gate is protected by a security system. The exposure is northeast and the apartment faces both the street and courtyard. The walls are white painted and the floors are tiled. There are also original beams. There are double glassed windows.
The 19m2 living room has two windows with curtains and faces the calm street. There are nice ancient read brick tiles on the floor. It is tastefully decorated with a double sofa bed (140 wide), a wooden dining table with four chairs, a wall-in built bookcase, a wooden closet, and an organ surmounted by a nice mirror. There are also decorative items such as paintings, another mirror and lamps in this room. The living room is equipped with a phone.
On the left side on the living room still facing the street with a window with white black out drapes, is the 12m2 agreeable bedroom. Tiled on the floor the bedroom is furnished with a double bed (140 wide), a large wardrobe, and a small table with a mirror and a white wooden closet. It is also equipped with a TV and VCR and a stereo.
The separate kitchen has a brown tiled floor and two windows giving on a courtyard. It is equipped with a table so that it is possible to eat in it, a fridge and freezer (combo), an electric oven and three gas burners and an electric burner. There is also a ceramic sink, a coffee maker and a toaster. The washing machine and all the necessary utensils are also in the kitchen.
The bathroom is adjacent to the bedroom but can be locked with a door. It is all tiled. It is fitted out with a small tub with a plastic curtain and a wall-mounted showerhead, and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror. The toilets are separate and have a window giving on the courtyard side.
The nearest metro stations are Pigalle (line 12) and Abbesses (line 12).
