Pleasant and nicely decorated studio
|
This pleasant and nicely decorated 24m2 studio apartment is located between Rue St-Jacques and Bd St-Germain.
This apartment is ideally situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, and, only 50 meters from the river Seine, is in one of the most youthful parts of Paris. Close to the apartment you will find the very famous university 'Jussieu'. At a few minutes walking distance are the famous Pantheon, Cathedral Notre Dame and typical Rue Mouffetard. There are also many museums, jazz clubs, and restaurants located on the pedestrianized streets. You will be able to visit the 'Jardin des Plantes' which is the Paris Botanical's garden with its zoo and the National Museum of Natural History. On Sunday you will see the secondhand bookseller on the quayside of the river.
This studio is located on the third floor of a 15th century well-maintained walk-up building. The main entrance gate and the apartment itself is protected by a double code security system.
The apartment is west exposed and faces a calm courtyard.
The walls are cream painted, there is a parquet floor and original 600 year old beams on the ceiling.
When you first enter the apartment is a small entry hall, which opens directly in the 22m2, living and sleeping area. The eat-in kitchen is open facing the sleeping area and the bathroom and toilet are on the right side of the entry hall.
The main room has a window with exterior bamboo shades facing the courtyard. The decoration is contemporary. The living room is decorated with two black and one red armchairs, a wooden coffee table, a modern standard lamp, a red bookcase; wall-in built sets of shelves, and a closet. Facing it is an aluminium dining table with matching chairs. This room is equipped with a stereo, a cable TV and a telephone. There are also nice decorative items such as paintings and others. There is an internet connection (through cable) in the apartment.
This sleeping area has a window and is fitted with a double bed (140 wide), a closet with a mirror on top and paintings on the walls.
The kitchen is open, has a window and is tiled with a bar and two high stools. It is equipped with two electric burners, an electric oven, a small fridge, a ceramic sink and a water boiler. All the necessary utensils are placed in the cupboards.
The bathroom is white tiled and has a tub with a wall-mounted showerhead and a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and toilet.
There is public underground parking in front of the building.
Internet thru the cable is available.
The nearest metro station is Maubert Mutualité (line 10).
