One bedroom in the Quartier Latin
|
This agreeable and nicely decorated 40m2 one bedroom apartment is located between Boulevard Saint-Marcel and Rue Censier.
This apartment is ideally situated in the heart of the Latin Quarter, and in one of the most youthful parts of Paris. Close to the apartment you will find the very famous university Jussieu. Just a few minutes walking distance are the famous Pantheon and typical Rue Mouffetard. You will be able to visit the 'Jardin des Plantes' which is the Paris Botanical's garden with its zoo and the National Museum of Natural History. The Seine River and the Cathedral Notre Dame are also at a few minutes walk. On Sunday you will see the secondhand bookseller on the quayside.
This quiet apartment is situated on the fifth floor of a well-maintained 1880's walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system and there is a concierge in the building.
The exposure is southwest and the windows are double-glazed in the bedroom and kitchen. There is parquet floor almost everywhere and the entrance door of the apartment is armored.
The apartment is divided as follows: when you enter is a small entry hall, on the left hand-side of it is the bathroom and toilet. The entry hall opens onto the 15m2 living room. On the right hand-side of the living room is a large 17m2 bedroom and on the left hand-side of the living room a separate kitchen.
The living room has a window with shutters and black out drapes viewing the courtyard. The walls are painted with a nice green color. It is tastefully decorated with a sofa bed (120 wide), two standard lamps, built-in wall shelves in an alcove with a stereo, a cable TV, an ancient folding wooden table with a chair and a lamp, a wooden closet and a rug.
The bedroom has a window with black out drapes facing the courtyard as well. It is furnished with a double bed (140 wide) surmounted by two lamps. There is also a wooden desk and its chair, two armchairs, a decorative fireplace surmounted by a mirror and a small room next to the bed with sets of built-in wall shelves.
The kitchen has a window viewing the courtyard and is all white tiled. It is equipped with a microwave, two electric burners, a small fridge, a stainless steel sink, a washing machine and a coffee maker and toaster as well as all the necessary utensils.
The bathroom is white tiled and is fitted with a shower protected by sliding doors, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and toilet.
Wireless internet access is available.
Heating and water heater are electric.
The nearest metro station is Censier Daubenton (line 7).
