This apartment is ideally located in the heart of the Saint-Germain des Prés area between Rue des Cannettes and Rue Princesse. This area is known for its elegant, trendy streets and for its many stylish fashion shops, a mall, antique shops, art galleries, and sophisticated and traditional restaurants and cafes. Nearby are the renowned Boulevard Saint-Germain, the ravishing Luxembourg Garden, the Seine River, and many monuments and points of interest. Also in the neighborhood are quality services such as fine bakeries, select supermarkets, and the well-known, daily Buci open air market.
Premises:
This 43m˛ (approx. 460 sq. ft.) studio apartment is situated on the second floor of a 17th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a corridor, which has kept its original beams and stone walls. There are white walls, carpeting almost throughout and exposed wooden beams on the ceilings.
The 32m˛ (approx. 340 sq. ft.) living room has three double-glazed windows with curtains and rolling blinds, all facing the street side with a northern exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed (140 wide), a TV, a stereo and a coffee table. Facing it is a dining table with chairs and shelves.
The open kitchen is separated from the living room by a bar. It is tiled and equipped with three electric burners, an electric oven, a microwave, a small refrigerator, a washing machine, a toaster and all the necessary utensils.
The bathroom is all white tile and has two windows facing the courtyard. It has several closets, a tub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a washbasin with a mirror, and a toilet.
The heat and the water heater are electric.
The nearest metro stations are Mabillon (Line 10) and Saint-Germain des Prés (line 4).
