Neighorhood: Located on Rue Chapon between Rue Du Temple and Rue Beaubourg, this apartment is situated near the Georges Pompidou Cultural Center, also known as Beaubourg, with its diverse art galleries. This street is very close to the Les Halles Mall and within walking distance to the Louvre, the adjoining Royal Tuileries Garden and the Seine River with its unique islands, Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis. In addition to French traditional and international restaurants and cafes in the neighborhood, there are all sorts of services and conveniences. Premises: This 58m² (approx. 625 sq. ft.) furnished apartment is situated on the first floor (2nd in the USA) of a 19th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by a coded security system and opens into a hall with a second door protected by an intercom. The entry door opens directly onto the large living room. In the middle of the room to your right, there is a sliding door, which opens to the kitchen. The living room gives access to the bathroom and to the first bedroom. The second bedroom is accessible by the first bedroom. The 30m² (approx. 320 sq.ft.) living room has parquet floor and a window with a view on a courtyard. It is furnished with two sofas, a double size bed, a coffee table and a dining table. It is also equipped with a cable TV and a stereo, as well as some bookshelves. The separate kitchen is equipped with four halogen plates topped by an exhaust fan, an oven combo microwave, a washing machine, a fridge, a freezer, a dishwasher, a kettle and a toaster. The first 9m² (approx. 95 sq.ft.) bedroom has parquet floor and a window, which overlooks a courtyard. It is furnished with a single size bed, drawers, cupboards, as well as large built in closets. The second 12m² bedroom has a window and parquet floor, a double size bed, a desk with bookshelves above, a decorative fireplace and a cupboard. The bathroom has a window and is fitted with a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a corner shower, a heated towel rack and a toilet. Heat and hot water are electric and individual. Internet access is available. The nearest metro stations are "Arts et Métiers" (lines 3,11) and "Rambuteau" (line 11).
