Basic studio in the Lourmel area
|
Located between Rue Lecourbe and Rue Jacques Mawas, this 16m² studio with a 4m² terrace is bordering the area of Invalides where everything is bigger than life. Starting from the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire, the Parc du Champs de Mars stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. The avenues around the Tower are lined with luxurious buildings, some in the Art Nouveaux style, and numerous embassies. The Eiffel Tower originally built to impress visitors to the Universal Exhibition of 1889, was meant to be temporary but now La Tour Eiffel is the symbol of Paris. Right by the apartment are all sorts of essential shops and services in the Convention neighborhood.
The apartment is situated on the sixth floor of a 20th century elevator building with concierge. The main entrance gate is protected by a security system. The apartment faces the street. It has an eastern exposure.
The entry door opens on a hallway, which leads to the shower room on the right-hand side and the living room in front. The apartment has painted walls and wall-to-wall carpet. The kitchen and the shower room are tiled.
The 11m² living room has a french door with manual shutters. It is decorated with a 140cm-wide sofa bed, a collapsible table, a cabled TV with DVD player and a mini stereo.
There is a DSL connection available.
The open kitchen is equipped with a fridge, a microwave, two electric burners and a coffee maker.
The shower room has a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, a shower with a plastic curtain and a toilet with sanibroyeur.
Heating and water heater are collective with the building.
The nearest metro stations are Convention Line 12 or Boucicaut Line 8.
