Chic and comfortable central 115m2 three-bedrooms apartment situated between Rue des Lombards and Rue de Rivoli in the heart of the trendy part of the Chatelet area at a few minutes walking distance to the neighborhood. Les Halles is a central district with a traditional commerce including the live Montorgueil pedestrian area with its renowned market, a large choice of restaurants and cafes, as well as other services. In the 12th century the central market, already called `Les Halles´, was outside of Paris surrounding walls. A Corporation chose each street and since the 16th century essential activity is food products. After 1935 the urban development limited and condemned the expansion of the old market, which was moved to a district called Rungis, far outside Paris. Most important tourist points such as the Centre Geaorges Pompidou (Beaubourg), the Seine River with its delightful islands Ile de la Cite and Ile Saint Louis, the Louvre Museum, and the City Hall are in a short walking distance. This apartment is located on the second floor of an 18th century walk-up building. The main entrance gate is protected by an intercom. The exposure is south and east west. It faces both the almost pedestrian street and a calm inner courtyard. The walls are white painted, there are beams on the ceilings and wooden floors almost everywhere.The apartment is divided as follows: when you enter it is the 45m2 dining and living room. On the right hand-side of the dining room is the separate and open eat-in kitchen. the first 15m2 and master bedroom is on the right hand-side of the dining room. This bedroom communicates with a bathroom and toilet giving itself onto a second 8m2 bedroom. This bedroom can also be accessed through a private door from the living room. The last and 12m2 bedroom is on the left hand-side of the living room and has a private bathroom and toilet. The living room has three windows: two of which viewing the street side and the last one the courtyard. It is tastefully decorated with wooden dining table and its matching chairs, a console, a wooden closet, a sofa and armchairs, a decorative fireplace, another wooden closet, a telephone, cable TV and VCR, a DVD player (European standard only) and a stereo. The master bedroom has a window facing the courtyard and is furnished with a queen size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, a wardrobe, and other decorative items. The smallest bedroom has a window facing the street and is furnished with two single beds (80 wide-trundle beds), a piano, a desk and a chair. The last bedroom has a window viewing the street and is decorated with two single beds (80 wide each), bedside tables with lamps. The eat-in kitchen has a window facing the courtyard. It is equipped with a microwave, an electric oven, four vitroceramic burners, a fridge and freezer (combo), a dishwasher, a coffee maker, a toaster, a sink and all the necessary utensils. There is also a washing machine and separate dryer. The first bathroom is all tiled and fitted with a tub with a wall-mounted showerhead, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror, and an electric toilet. The second bathroom is all tiled as well as fitted with a shower, a washbasin surmounted by a mirror and toilet. The separate toilet is tilled with a small washbasin. A high speed internet connection is available. The nearest metro stations are Chatelet and Hotel de Ville.
