One-bedroom apartment in the Montparnasse area

Neighborhood:
Located between Rue des Volontaires and Boulevard Pasteur, this quiet one-bedroom apartment has a variety of services -- such as bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes -- in walking distance. In the Montparnasse area and the bordering streets of the 6th district not far from the apartment, there are fashion shops and other diverse restaurants and cafes. Nearby is the area of the Invalides, where everything is on a monumental scale. Starting at the sprawling 18th century buildings of the Ecole Militaire, the Parc du Champs de Mars stretches down to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. This residential area is the home of Paris' tallest office tower, the Tour Montparnasse, and it is also known for its theater district. Close to the Institute Pasteur, founded by the world-renowned scientist Louis Pasteur, it is also France's leading medical research center.
Premises:
The 65m² (approx. 695 sq. ft.) apartment is situated on the ground floor of a Haussmann period building. A coded security system and an intercom protect the main entrance gate.
Layout:
The entry door opens into a hallway leading to the living room on the left. The bedroom, the kitchen and the separate toilet are on the right; the bathroom is on the end.
The 30m² (approx. 320 sq. ft.) living room has two windows facing the street with a western exposure. It is furnished with a double-size sofa bed, two armchairs, a coffee table, a dining table with six chairs and a console with a TV, a VCR and a DVD player. There is also a built-in closet, a stereo, two chests of drawers and two bookshelves.
The 15m² (approx. 160 sq. ft.) bedroom has a window facing the courtyard with an eastern exposure. It is furnished with a queen-size bed, a bedside table, two chests of drawers and a built-in closet.
The separate kitchen has a window and is equipped with four gas burners, a refrigerator, a freezer, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, an oven, a microwave and a toaster.
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a washbasin. There is a separate toilet.
Heating and water heater are individual with gas.
The nearest metro station is Pasteur (L6,12).
