One bedroom apartment in the 10th District

Situated between rue du Faubourg Saint Martin and Boulevard de Strasbourg.
A delightful site, the Saint Martin channel is bordered by trees, all along dotted with locks and little bridges, becoming one of Parisians' favorite areas to live. Started under Napoleon 1st, finished in 1825, it was Louis XIV who first imagined this gorgeous channel, remaining one of the most idyllic Parisian landscapes. Promises of enjoyment are the cycle tracks From Bastille to the Villette district. Sainte Marthe place is still a precious, unique spot of this neighbourhood to be captured with its cafes and appetizing restaurants. It also neighbors the Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord railroad stations. High speed trains to London and Belgium start from this last one.
For instance, in about ten minutes distance by metro is the Louvre Museum, and the Seine River. Nearby, the République Place offers a large option of restaurants, cafés, and diverse sorts of shops.
Located on the 5th floor of a 19th century building equipped with an elevator (one floor walk up) this cosy 27m² one bedroom apartment has white painted walls, 2,50m high ceilings, a parquet floor in the living room, and a wall to wall carpet in the bedroom.
At first, right after the main door is the bedroom, across which, to the left side, is the living room with an open kitchen space. In the bottom of the living room, to the right side, is the bathroom.
Assets of this pleasing southeast exposed 13m2 living room are the two oeil-de-boeuf windows and the position of the small round dining table and two armchairs right in front of the large French window overlooking Paris roofs, full sky, and the street. There also are a double sofa bed facing a mini coffee table, a telephone, a cable TV with a Home Theater, a stereo, paintings, and lamps.
Design, the open kitchen space is equipped with 2 electric burners, a fridge, an electric oven with microwave function, a fridge with freezer compartment, a toaster, a round stainless steel sink installed on the worktop, and utensils stowed away in the drawers and cupboards.
An antique chandelier gives a particular charm to the 10m2 bedroom furnished with a 1.40cm wide double bed, a built in closet, a lamp set down on a recessed niche, a wall closet, antique photos, and a window screened by a fabric blind. Behind floor to ceiling mirrored sliding doors, in a recessed space, is the washing machine, and toilet.
Small and practical the bathroom features a fine antique bevelled mirror above washbasin, a tiled shower cabin protected by a sliding door, and an oeil-de-boeuf window.
High speed internet access is available.
The closest metro stations are Gare de l'Est (lines 4, 5, and 7) and Jacques Bonsergent (line 5).
