Studio with mezzanine in Saint Germain des Pres

Situated in the Seine River's left Bank area, between rue du Four and rue Guisarde.
Exclusive street of the very demanded Saint Germain des Près area, more precisely the Saint Sulpice neighborhood, Parisian core of the latest and most chic fashion shops. One of the most attractive and historic districts of the Seine River's Left Bank, here also are number of selected restaurants and historic cafes such as Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore, favorite haunts of famous French existentialists and expatriated American literate back in the day. Just beside the new Marché Saint Germain (Fashion Market), a few steps away rue de Buci features a special atmosphere and open-air market.
Charming 37m2 apartment having a pleasant terrace garden dressed up with evergreens and flowers to be shared with 3 other apartments, it is east and west exposed, located on the 1st floor of an 18th century walk up building equipped with a security system. All the walls are white painted, there is a wall-to-wall brown carpet, and most of daylight comes in through the two floor-to-ceiling windows garnished with curtains, giving access to the terrace.
On one side of the 25m2 living room it has 4m high ceiling with genuine exposed beams, and on the other side height goes down to 2m. Furnished with a 140cm wide sofa bed and two director's chairs around a coffee table, there also is a rectangular marble topped dining table with wrought iron legs and two chairs, cabinets, a nice lamp set down on a round console, a TV cable, a telephone, and an area rug.
The pleasant all tilled kitchen area is open to the living room, equipped with four electric burners, a traditional electric oven, a microwave oven, a fridge with freezer compartment, an electric coffee maker, and a toaster. In addition, there is a combo washing-drying machine, double stainless steel sinks facing the window opening onto a different courtyard, and utensil stowed away in the cupboards.
Two built in closets are placed under the flight of stairs leading to the mezzanine. Upstairs is the 12m2 'bedroom' where the ceiling is 1.70m high, also all carpeted and fitted out with a 1.40cm wide double bed, a bedside table and lamp, and a chest of drawers. It opens onto the living room.
High speed internet access is available. Heat and hot water are electric.
Adjoining the bedroom, the bathroom encloses a small bathtub with wall-mounted shower, protected by sliding screens, and a white ceramic washbasin with a cabinet below. Across the bathroom is the independent restroom.
The closest metro stations are Mabillon (line 10) and Saint Germain des Près (line 4)
