One bedroom apartment in the Montmatre/Sacred Heart Area

Very calm and small street situated between rue Berthe and rue des Trois Frères.
Just beside the street where the French movie Amelie Poulain was shot, this mostly residential area is one of the most visited tourist point in Paris, in the vicinity of Abesses Place, it is also a few steps away from the charming Place du Tertre, where painters and other caricaturists create and show their work in the open air. Another point of interest is the sacred Heart Basilica, one of the most known churches of Paris. In all this area there are number of typical restaurants and cafes in addition to diverse sorts of basic services.
Cosy and very calm, this 28m² one-bedroom apartment located on the ground floor of a late 19th century building equipped with an intercom is southeast exposed and faces the courtyard. It has the charm of stonewalls, a tasteful decoration, and double glazed windows opening to the silent courtyard.
Straight after the main door the 13m2 living room features a tiled floor and a window (also tip over) screened by a short curtain, fitted out with a wrought iron baby bed also used as sofa, a mosaic round dining table for two with two matching chairs, an area carpet, and paintings. There is the American open kitchen with two design chairs.
To the right side the 12m2 bedroom is furnished with a 1.40m2 double bed with on both sides a bedside table and lamp, and a floor lamp, a recessed closet protected by a fabric curtain, a combo TV-VCR set down on a recessed niche, recessed small cases, a chest of drawers, and a window garnished with curtains.
The kitchen has a rather large counter, equipped with 2 electric burners, a microwave oven, a small fridge, a toaster, an Italian coffee maker, and a stainless steel sink. Basic utensils are at client disposal stowed in the cupboard.
White tiled the bathroom encloses a tiled shower cabinet protected by a plastic curtain, a white ceramic washbasin with a mirror above and a cabinet below protected by a fabric short curtain, and toilet. There is also a washing machine.
The closest metro station is Abesses (line 12).
