Two bedroom apartment in the Marais-Les Halles Area

Situated in the heart of the Marais, between rue de Sevigné and rue de Turenne.
One of the most desirable and trendiest areas in the heart of Paris, the Marais was originally a swampland until the 12th century. From that time, little by little number of constructions were settled, such as the genuine stones and colored bricks' private mansions, since then so peculiar to this district. Showing up today the jewels of its architecture mostly from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries, a must to see for those who are fond of character buildings, it encloses famous museums such as Picasso and Carnavalet, as well as charming little streets, stylish shops, selected and traditional restaurants and cafés. All conveniences are easily found in this neighborhood.
Full of character this 60m2 two-bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor of a 17th century building equipped with a security system and a part time caretaker. The white walls enhance the genuine exposed beams on the 2.90m high ceiling and nice old-fashioned hexagonal tiled floor, and all the windows overlook the silent courtyard.
In the little hall placed right after the main door there is a window and a recessed closet.
West and east exposed the 22-m2 living room is decorated with antique furniture such as a wooden sofa, and a rectangular dining table with straw bottomed matching chairs. Furthermore there is a rectangular coffee table, a decorative fireplace, a cable TV with DVD, and a telephone.
Wall to wall brown carpeted and furnished with a 1.40cm wide double bed and bedside tables and lamps, the 15m2 master bedroom has a decorative fireplace and two windows screened by rolling blinds. You will find a large closet.

In the open kitchen space equipped with two electric burners, an electric traditional oven, a microwave oven, a combo fridge and freezer (in a little closet), an electric kettle, a rectangular old fashion sink, a cupboard and drawers below the white worktop. There is a rectangular dining table for 4 persons.
The bathroom is white painted and tiled enclosing a shower, a large mirror above the steel washbasin, and toilet. You will find a washing/drying machine.
An Internet Access is available.
The closest metro stations are Saint Paul (line 1) and Bastille (lines 1, 5 & 8).
