One bedroom apartment at the Porte d'Orleans
|
Situated between rue de la Tombe Issoire and rue du Père Corentin.
Little residential street a few steps away from a busy commercial avenue provided with number of diverse restaurants, cafes, and conveniences shops, also very close to the wide Parc Montsouris and to the University Residence Hall. A few metro stations to the north are the pedestrian area enclosing the pleasant rue d'Aguerre market, the Montparnasse live and trendy area, famous for its large number of theaters, cinemas, restaurants, and nice cafes, and the Saint Germain des Près district with its elegant fashion stores.
Sizing 35m2 this charming one bedroom apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a 19th century walk up building equipped with a security system. Pleasantly laid out, it is northeast and southwest exposed, has white painted walls, a nice parquet floor, and 2,73 high ceilings. It accommodates up to two couples.
To the left side of the main door are the living room and bedroom, facing is the kitchen, and preceding the kitchen, to the right side is the bathroom.
The agreeable 11m2 living room is fitted out with a 140cm wide double sofa bed facing a rectangular glass topped coffee table and bookshelves, a cable TV, a stereo, wall lamps, and a window garnished with curtains overlooking the street.
Contiguous to the living room the 9m2 the bedroom has a window ornate with light yellow curtains, furnished with a 140cm wide double bed, a night table, a floor lamp, and a mirror doors closet.
Two open accesses lead in to the kitchen - one facing the main door, and the other one through the living room. It is equipped with one electric and three gas burners, a traditional oven, a microwave oven, a combo fridge-freezer, a combo washing-drying machine, electric kettle and coffee maker, a toaster, a window placed above the double white sinks installed on the L-shaped worktop, below which short curtains keep out of sight a few shelves, and cabinets. Tableware and necessary utensils are also provided.
In front of the bedroom the blue tiled and white painted bathroom encloses a little bathtub with handheld showerhead and a shower curtain, a medicine cabinet above the white washbasin, toilet, and a small window.
The closest metro station is Porte d'Orléans (lines 4)
