Studio in the Montmartre area
|
Situated on one of the Montmartre knoll stair's landings, between rue Saint Vincent and rue Cortot.
Mont Martre, Mont Parnasse, Menil Montant, Mont Souris, Champ l'Évêque and Butte-aux-Cailles, are the names of the six Paris hillocks. Historical and cultural center having inspired number of artists, more than six million visitors have visited Montmartre. One of the most peculiar districts of Paris for its vines and its songs, poets and painters, and for its major symbol, the Sacred Heart Basilica, the 130metters high esplanade on its top offers a splendid view over Paris. In a few metro stations distance are the Opera, the Champs Elysées, and the Louvre Museum, for instance. On the way downhill there are many options on vegetables and fruits markets, diverse sorts of restaurants and cafes, and all conveniences.
Peaceful and charming this 30m² studio is located on the ground floor of an early 19th century building equipped with an intercom. West exposed, it has windows looking out onto the silent courtyard, white walls, a nice parquet floor, and 2.70 high ceilings.
It has a hall corridor featuring two closets, bathroom to the right side, following living room and open kitchen.
The cosy 17m2 living room is fitted out with a 0,90cm wide single sofa bed, a Japanese style folding screen and bookcases setting apart the 0,90cm wide futon single bed with a drawer below, bedside table and lamp, and stereo. Besides there is a rectangular dining table with three folding chairs (one of four is to be removed), a TV set down on a small table, a chest of drawers, paintings, a pleasant lamp, a telephone, and a window protected by a fabric screen.
All white the recessed open kitchen is equipped with combo four-vitro ceramic burners, and electric oven (the dishwasher is out of use). There also is a fridge with freezer compartment, an electric coffee maker and kettle, utensils stowed in the cupboard below the stainless steel sink, and a window.
Right after the main door the white tiled bathroom includes a tiled shower cabinet protected by sliding doors, a nice mirror above the white ceramic washbasin and a cabinet below, a combo washing-drying machine, and a set back cabinet above the toilet.
The closest metro station is Lamarck Caulaincourt (line 12).
