This studio is situated on Rue de Braque in the Marais area, between rue du Temple and rue des Archives.
Central location, on one side in a few steps to the oldest square of Paris, the Royal Place des Vosges with its number of harmonious arcades surround the square, all made in red brick and stone facings, and to Bastille Place, symbol of the French Republic, and on the other side close to the Republique Place, set out by the Baron Haussmann in 1854. This entire neighborhood is provided with numerous choice restaurants, cafes, and all sorts of convenience shops.
Full of charm and bright due to its southwest exposure this furnished apartment is located on the 2nd floor of a 17th century walk-up building provided with a security system, an intercom, and a full time caretaker. Featuring white walls, it has a nice varnished parquet floor and a 3.30m high ceiling. Pleasant fine curtains ornate the two pane French windows looking out onto the street.
In the sweet living room there are two sofa beds - one is 160cm wide, sleeping two people, and the owner can provide another one (0,80cm wide sleeping one person). In addition there is a square wooden dining table and four matching chairs (two extra assorted chairs are available), a large built-in closet, which contains a TV (with basic local cable channels) and VCR / DVD player, a telephone, and wall lamps.
Next to the main door the recessed open kitchen space is equipped with two electric burners, a traditional electric oven, a microwave oven, a hood with fan, a fridge with freezer compartment, electric coffee maker and kettle, a round sink fit on the small worktop, tableware and other utensils put away in the wall cupboards.
Set apart by a sliding door, the bathroom shows a superb tiled shower cabin fit up with massage showerheads, screened by glass sliding doors, a white ceramic washbasin with a mirror above and cabinet below, and toilet.
The closest metro stations are Rambuteau (line 11), Arts et Metiers (lines 3 and 11), and Etienne Marcel (line 4)

Unfortunately I can recommend neither the apartment nor its owners. This studio is probably a very nice choice for a short term rental (one week or two) but it is clearly less suited for a long term stay (at the time it was only available for a minimum rental of 6 months). |

Hello Sonja. I am a bit surprised by your comments on cleanliness. Many renters stayed in this apartment, for short- and long-term stays, they all come back regularly and I never had such feedback. You did indeed let me know there were crumbs behind the microwave when you arrived. You didn't mention the cleanliness for the rest of the apartment. I would have liked to be informed earlier so I could correct the situation in time. |
