Located between Rue Lepic and rue Germain Pilon
The district of Montmartre and art are inseparable; at the end of the 19th century the area was a Mecca for artists, writers and poets. Montmartre maintains its physical charm and the village atmosphere remains remarkably intact. The Moulin de la Galette can be seen from the apartment's window, this windmill was built in 1622 and was used for grinding wheat and pressing grapes. At the end of the century the mill became a famous dance hall and provided inspiration for artists like Renoir and Van Gogh. One of Paris's most picturesque squares is the Place des Abbesses with its original Art Nouveau metro station.
The 1st floor of 19th century walk-up building having a security system is where is located this north and south exposed 38m2 one bedroom apartment. In the living room ceiling genuine exposed beams are shown to advantage by the white and yellow walls. There is a net parquet floor in the living room and bedroom.
A genuine stones' section of one wall enhances the ambiance of the14m2 living room decorated with a nice and comfortable 140cm double sofa bed, a window overlooking a quiet street, a stereo, a little round table and two stools, a little white desk and a chair, and houseplants.
The American kitchen is equipped with two stools, two electric burners, a microwave, a fridge, an electric coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a hood with fan and a window. Below and above the white ceramic sink there are cupboards containing kitchen utensils
To the right side of the main door, the 17m2 bedroom is furnished with a 140cm wide double bed, an armchair, a TV with international channels (via the ADSL) and a VCR, recessed closets, a decorative fireplace, a mirror, chairs, bookshelves, lamps, a telephone, and two windows garnished with pleasant curtains overlooking the nice courtyard decorated with evergreens.
In front of the main door the white and yellow tiled bathroom encloses a bathtub with a showerhead, a washbasin with a mirror above and cabinet below, an electric towels dryer and a washing machine.
Toilet is separate.
The nearest metro stations are Abbesses (line 12), and Blanche (line 2).
